The Loombury Chair Bed
One quiet-fold frame that turns from armchair to chaise to recliner to a proper single bed. Built for flats, studios, spare rooms, and the guest that always says yes to staying over.
Choose your set
Sit. Recline. Host. Sleep.
One folding action moves through every configuration a small home needs. No lifting, no wrestling, no reassembly.
Armchair
Upright reading chair for weeknights. Tartan cushions sit on a solid wood-armrest base that stays put on wood floors and rugs.
Chaise
Legs up, book open. A single pull turns the seat into a long chaise for Sunday afternoons and long films.
Recliner
A tilted middle position for napping, feeding a baby back to sleep, or watching one more episode without moving to the bedroom.
Single bed
Flat to the floor at 10.63 inches. A full 76.77-inch sleeping length that fits an average-height adult without curled feet.
Fits under the window. Fits beside the shelf.
Four width options let you match the Loombury to the exact wall it needs to live against. Choose what your floor plan allows without giving up a proper mattress length.
Built quiet. Built firm. Built to last.
Everything you cannot see is doing the real work: dual-density foam that keeps its shape, a steel spine that will not creak, and a fold action that stays smooth after a hundred conversions.
Violet dual-density foam
A soft top comfort layer over a firm anti-sag support layer. You feel plush on the surface and stable underneath. No metal joints under the shoulder blades in bed mode.
Carbon steel plus solid wood
High-strength carbon steel frame reinforced with solid wood, stainless steel arm-rails, and sled-shaped wooden feet. Tested for 350 lb of daily use.
One-tool, 15-minute setup
The chair arrives assembled except for the legs. Attach the four feet with the included tool and it is done. No complicated flat-pack. No swearing in the living room.
Meet the fabrics
Both fabrics are woven for warm, tactile character. Neither one looks like a rental-flat sofa. Choose the one that works with your floor and your light.

Chestnut-brown tartan
A timeless plaid in warm chestnut tones, rich in traditional country-cottage character. Sits beautifully against cream walls, dark wood shelving, and terracotta pots.

Beige and coffee woven boucle
A bold coarse-woven textile with a heathered 3D visual depth. It adds instant texture to a room and reads modern without looking cold.
Small spaces that suddenly work
A few of the corners the Loombury has settled into. Guest rooms, snug lounges, home offices that also host a Friday night stayover.

Where the old sofa bed loses
A quick side-by-side against the traditional heavy sofa bed most small flats end up with by default.
